. The TEC Model 159 Digital Signal Isolator is a qualified digital signal isolation device, providing better than 120 dB (at 60 Hz) isolation between input and output. The input and output ranges of available models are tabulated below. Effective isolation is provided while powering the isolator from the non-1E side.

The TEC Model 159 Isolator is designed for field mounting. For multiple isolators and train separation, qualified NEMA enclosures and wall mountings are available. Type testing of the TEC Model 159 is in accordance with IEEE Standards 323-1974, 344-1975, and 381-1977.
