TEC MODEL 156:
ANALOG SIGNAL ISOLATION

TEC Model 156
The TEC Model 156 Analog Signal Isolator is a qualified analog signal isolation device providing better than 120 dB (at 60 Hz) isolation between input and output. The input and output ranges of available models are tabulated below. Effective isolation is provided while powering the isolator from the non-1E-side. The TEC Model 156 is designed for field mounting. Type testing of the TEC Model 156 is in accordance with the following standards:
  • IEEE 323-1974 Standard for Qualifying Class 1E Equipment for Nuclear Power Generating Stations
  • IEEE 344-1975 Recommended Practice for Seismic Qualification of Class 1E Equipment for Nuclear Power Generating Stations
  • 381-1977 – IEEE Standard Criteria for Type Tests of Class 1E Modules Used in Nuclear Power Generating Stations
  • IEEE 472-1974 Standard for Surge Withstand Capability
